Updates on Re-domiciliation to Hong Kong

AXA Hong Kong and Macau ("AXA") announces that, in accordance with the new company re-domiciliation regime introduced by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, AXA China Region Insurance Company (Bermuda) Limited (“the Company”) has completed its re-domiciliation from Bermuda to Hong Kong, and is officially renamed to “AXA China Region Insurance Company (Hong Kong) Limited” in Hong Kong, with effect from 26 January 2026.

The renaming of the Company's Macau branch to “AXA China Region Insurance Company (Hong Kong) Limited” has been confirmed pursuant to the Executive Order no 58/2026, published in the Macau Official Gazette no 12 (I Series) of 23 March 2026. 

The Company will progressively update its website, communications and other materials to reflect the new name of the Macau branch.  In the meantime, some documents issued by the Company’s Macau branch will continue to be  under the name of “AXA China Region Insurance Company (Bermuda) Limited”, until the updates are fully completed. 

The continuity of the Company's legal entity, organisational structure, or day-to-day operations will remain unaffected. All existing rights and obligations to policyholders, distributors, and business partners remain unchanged, and all existing agreements and commitments remain in effect.
